I hate the shit Marner gets. When he walks it will be great for him.
Marner is a TOP winger in the NHL. Leafs nation will come to their senses when he's gone! Like, how many Cups did Clark, Gilmour, Sittler, or Sundin win??? (All guys I love of course) They did squat… never made it to a final! No one hates on them. Marner is HANDS DOWN better than Willy!
Just like people used to rip on Sundin because he didn't fight. Meanwhile, he was the BIG cheese in Sweeden. Yeah, on a team that had Forsberg, Nasland, Alfredsson, Lindstrom, and other stars… WHO was the big wheel?? Who was the main cog??? Who was their best player and captain of their gold medal Olympic team. YEAH Sundin! Still idiots here ripped on him. Go ask McKinnon or Orielly who's better between MM and WN. The people in this market would still argue the opposite! 🤷🏻♂️
Playoff Marner is not even better than Diarrhea Nylander

Marner plays against the best, regardless of who is on his line, and Nylander has to be sheltered because he is a huge defensive liability. Despite that Marner has a goal differential of plus 10 in the playoffs and Nylander has a goal differential of plus one. Matthews is plus 2. It is pretty clear which player is better if you want to be objective. If you don't want to be objective then you can draw any conclusions you want.
