Recency bias here, but would it be Luc?

  2. TsarBomba94

Not sure if he’s the slowest but I always thought Tkachuk looked like he was skating in molasses. He made up for it though by reading the play so well

It depends, straight line or on a curve?

Lucic wasn’t that slow in a straight line but cornered like a shopping cart.

My guess is the real slowest Flame was likely a goon from the 1980s. Anyone who played in the last 30 years had to be a far more competent skater than those old goons had to be.

I don’t know if this counts cause I think he got cut in pre-season and never played an actual game for the Flames, but Douglas Murray is the slowest skater I have ever seen in my life .

    Wayne Primeau.

I remember watching him play live and my dad saying to me “wow, that’s is, that’s all he’s got. That’s as fast as he can go. He’s the hardest working guy on the ice and he’s still the slowest guy on the ice”

Remember when Dennis Wideman went on a breakaway and it looked like it was in slow motion?

You still haven’t fixed the spelling on Kiprusoff. The legend deserves better!

Sandy McCarthy, Rocky Thompson, and Brian McGrattan are up there, but I agree that the right answer is Lucic

  9. Hunter9One

Douglas Murray…. he was the slowest Flames player I ever saw…….

Matthew Lombardi was faster than prime Theo Fleury?

  11. Comfortable-Ad-7158

Looch and his “rumbling down the ice”

  12. Bob-Loblaw-Blah-

I was going to check some clips of Chris Simon to see if he’s as slow as I remember, but I could only find fight highlights, never anything during game play.

So in that case he’s definitely the slowest, guy barely moved while on the ice.

Dennis wideman had cement in his boots. His puck movement was okay, but he was painfully slow on the transition.

I hate that we won’t have Johnny hockey on here at all, seems wrong for what he brought here cause Lanny should win best forward

Lucic and old man Jagr racing each other would be glorious.

I think Jagr finds a way to win. Lucic probably falls or something, he’s the slowest

  16. livesinatoaster

jagr wasnt the fastest hockey player by the time he got passed around to calgary
