Kapanen is 21 and has played 2 years pro. Beck can get a chance in a call up. But can benefit from time in Laval.
Taking on the Laffs in Toronto tonight! Let's keep this great effort going! Beck is right, Beck knows that if it isn't this season he will be here next year when some contracts expire and there is no log jam. It seams to me that the team is trying to end up with 2 guys who can play center on each line. Not a bad thing if you can build it! Great show guys! GO HABS GO!

If Kapanen makes the team these are the players I hope he has on his line. Kap and Roy would make an incredible young tandem and Armia is playing for a new contract so this line could be potent.
Tonight's game will be a good test for Habs young players, especially on defense.

I am hoping both Kapanen and Hutson meet and exceed their ceilings but Hutson's really the guy in most pulling for. I want to see Kapanen developed properly and get opportunity to meet his ceiling for some team in the NHL even if it's not Montreal. But Hutson. Man I would love to see him survive and thrive cuz he's the guy that you want to tune into the game just to watch him.

Bad game for all tonight, but young team, no one looked good.
What if he doesn’t score? Put up 62 assists in his first year. He reads movement and if he is the QB PP1 he’s going to make everyone around him better.
Hutson, Kappie, Engstrom did not look good against Leafies. They were week on the puck, too slow re-decisions, and in puck movement. Beck should take the time, he’s 200 lbs now, 15 lbs on last year.
Devo pretty much secured his spot tonight, Kap and Beck kinda struggled tonight..
