  1. Lane Hutson WILL BE A TARGET. It's the same thing Cole Perfetti has been dealing with for 2 years. Cole has received flat out head shots from the Flames Goon/Coward Martin Pospisil (6'2" / vs 5'10") after the whistle, taken blind shots any time people can hit him, etc. Get accustomed to it HABS fans.

  2. Leafs fan here. Lane will be fine unless someone does some dirty crap that shouldn’t be in the game anymore. As for the leafs fans “bug on a windshield” thing, probably just cope because the Habs have hope in their franchise. I think the biggest thing leafs fans are envious of is hope because we know the result every season. I’ve steadily watched less and less games every season since Tavares was signed and I don’t see that changing unless the team looks spectacular which I doubt.

  3. With Arber, Anderson in line up and Savard as his partner he’ll have some deterrents, I don’t think any Hab will let cheap shots go unanswered

  4. Hughes was a target against Nashville and Edmonton

Needs the right partner already in D zone taking the hits and getting the puck up to him.

Hutson will have Savard and if Savard gets hurt, you can put the Sheriff with him, I feel sorry for anyone trying cheap shots then…

  5. Quin was 15 pounds heavier and even as a rookie he was aware this could happen and did not let it bother him. It is he weighs 165 pounds. He is not Theo. Theo was tough as nails and gave almost as much as he got. He will just have to adapt tp bigger players. He is a great young player who has to evolve. Reality is is that the story is probably nothing. As you said it was close to a full NHL lineup. It is evaluation time. On who does what and stick to the system. The team was out gunned. And a few of their players still did well. And you could see many could get cut and sent down. While Toronto looked good. I am not concerned unless he got hurt. The crosscheck was growing pains. And a Welcome gesture. Only good players get that.

  6. Was at the game last night. My first leafs game actually at the age of 16. Before the game I was thinking, “ maybe Montreal fans aren’t that bad and it’s over hyped”. I was wrong. The attitude I got from them over basic things is wild. Like dude you’re a grown ahh man and I’m a teen at my first game and you’re giving me attitude 😂😂😂😂. Never gonna feel sorry for y’all again. GO LEAFS GO

  7. I hope the Montreal coaching staff have a good development path of Hutson. He will not be able to play all 82 regular season games and be effective. He is playing against big, skilled and seasoned opponents, not boys, in a season that is twice as long as a NCAA season. He needs to be in a position to succeed and limiting his playing time this season will be important.
Domi is a rat and the only way to deal with a rat is to do the same as they do to others. No rat will stand up for himself.

  8. It’s pre season. Plus u don’t think Hutson hasn’t been a target before? Come on relax. If u can’t take the rough stuff then u shouldn’t be playing

  9. It’s pre season. Plus u don’t think Hutson hasn’t been a target before? Come on relax. If u can’t take the rough stuff then u shouldn’t be playing

  10. Hutson has been small all his life in regards to Hutson I'm sure nothing is new to people targeting him, nor was it surprising to see Domi trying to bully a smaller player than himself.

  11. Hutson was basically the only talented regular player on the ice for Montreal against a loaded Leafs team. Try to target Hutson when Slaf, Suzuki, Laine, Caufield, Dach are all flying around

  12. That's another reason the Habs need to be proficient at scoring on power plays. It will deter other teams from getting dirty like that when it means, they're almost certain to get scored on when doing such crap.

  13. I think Lane is a bit small for is position. He will get hurt and in my opinion, we have enough smurfs. Montreal always was on the smaller side in the NHL since 1995 but it's changing. We got some big boys and sweet prospect like Thorpe. That being said, habs was more physical than the leafs last night. If florian was on the team last night, Domi would have paid the price.

  14. I don't usually get this triggered by a video but there's just too much disrespect against the habs prospects. They were a team of inexperienced 20 year olds playing against a top NHL team and you know what the worst part is : The Leafs hurt Nylander hurt by themselves, Murray being humiliated by an absolute nobody and Tavares unable to finish this game 😂

  15. Tell me you never saw a BU game without saying you never saw a BU game. Obviously hes going to be targeted, thats why you have Arber on the team.

  16. Leafs should shut their mouths since they set the all time record in sport history for being the biggest losers and worst franchise to have ever existed 😎

  17. It's been seen so many times before. When a talented young player comes into the NHL, there is no shortage of a certain type of player ready to give said player a hard physical welcoming rough-up to the league. The referees know this and always do little to stop it. Unless you are a Gretsky or similar player who has ample protection on your own team.

  18. WHAT? Boring game? Bad Game? It was so good, the crowd was so silent was so afraidof getting a goal scored . The young canadiens against the Toronto Maple Leafs
