Yves Sarault was drafted 61st overall by the Montreal Canadiens in 1991. He played 1 game for Nashville.

Reid Simpson was drafted 72nd overall by the Philadelphia Flyers in 1989. He played 52 games for the Preds, scoring 5 goals and an assist.

Mike Fisher was drafted 44th overall by the Ottawa Senators in 1998. After 11 years with the Senators, he was traded on February 10, 2011 to the Nashville Predators in exchange for the Predators' 2011 first round draft pick (Stefan Noesen) and a conditional pick in 2012 (Jarrod Maidens). In 2012, he would win the NHL Foundation Player Award. On March 2, 2016, Fisher played in his 1,000th game. After Shea Weber was traded to Montreal for P.K. Subbing, Fisher would be given the captaincy on September 7, 2016, becoming the 6th captain (technically 7th) in Nashville Predators history.

He played 429 games for the Preds, scoring 111 goals and tallied 130 assists for a total of 241 points. Over an 18-year career, Fisher would play 1,104 games, scoring 278 goals and tallied 311 assists for a total of 589 points. He was also nominated for the Selke Trophy 9 times, with his highest finish being 3rd in the 2005- 2006 season, and the Lady Byng twice, finishing 54th and 56th respectively.

Zach Sanford was drafted 61st overall by the Washington Capitals in 2013. He played 16 games for Nashville, scoring 2 goals and an assist.

    Fisher was the guy that got me into hockey when I was young, my favourite player ever, I transferred my fandom to the Preds after he left Ottawa and been a Preds fan ever since! Love me some Fish!
