Best person to fill this role for now. Sure bedsy is a great scorer and great player but that’s not what wearing the c is totally about. It’s about mentorship and leadership on and off the ice. Bedsy still has a lot to learn about leadership. Not knocking on the kid but he’s still a bit too young. I see him getting an A next season and then the C after foligno’s contract is up he possibly retires at the end of the 2026-27 season
