man, that is brutal. Im bot a fan of Laine, but to see that really sucks. I hope he comes back soon and proves me wrong. Also, next game against the makebelieves I hope the Habs even the score if u catch my drift. They need to take a star for a star…….
To be honest, while I normally have a hard time feeling sympathy for this team because I’ve never liked the Habs (leafs fan), when I was watching and saw that, my heart stopped. His knee, ughhhhhhh. I do hope he recovers. Nobody deserves that to happen to them. Sending my prayers and wishes to Laine.
(Edit): I now Laine was being reckless with his push there just so you know lol. I don’t blame us for what happened.

The Hockey Gods turned on the Habs when they drafted Doug Wickenheiser. Sure, they've won cups since then , but they've never dominated like they did in the 70's. We need an Exorcism. We could sacrifice a Bruin or something.

Reinbacher's fall looks a lot more serious since his whole weight dropped on the knee looks like most of this season is over.
Laine's hit wasn't full weight and suggests a bone bruise or slight tear of the meniscus which may take him out for about 6 weeks of season play.
Indeed, the Hockey Gods are demanding that a sacrifice be given them in return for a reasonably safe passage during this regular season.
I hope the hockey club are using a fMRI (functional) MRI which shows live movement of the joint in real time so that the surgeon has the best view of what is happening inside that knee. If Bobby Orr's doctors had access to this type of MRI they would have known NOT to cut out the torn part of the meniscus & simply feed Orr the proper types of collagens & proteins to aid in healing without surgery.
