Not only they denied the Oiler's power play but also the first time they out-shot them.
Any 5-hole goal is one the goalie wants back (believe me, all us goalies know that it's our fault on those). So both goalies let one slip there. But Soucy's goal was a clean line of sight from a somewhat fair distance. Pickard should have had that one.. The shot differential tells the tale here though. Pickard still played well, as did Silovs. So basically…

You could say those were lucky bounces however there were a lot of grade a chances by the canucks that hit the post. I think you make ur own luck and Vancouver was definitely the better team where as last game oilers were the better team

Oilers goalies unlucky? 90% of the oilers goals in the series have been the result of Vancouver defensemen Ian Cole either directly off him and his stick, or on a play he basically set up.
