Savoie going down for a little while isnt a bad thing. He had some chances in preseason games and if he buried more of those chances he would still be with the parent club. I expect him to be up as an injury call up.

Don’t think we should add O’Reilly and Savoie to the oilers roster any time soon or risk losing both like we lost Broberg and Holloway. Lavoie and Philp both are RFA next season so they should see how well they gel with the team first before signing them to long term contracts or use them as trade bait.

Lavoie Philip and savoie for your first line in Bakersfield sounds pretty good. I just can’t see a spot for them with all the veterans on the lineup. Ryan is also a PK guy and the other two on the 4th line are not. If Lavoie makes it to Bakersfield that is.
Cant complain. Treat savoie like Dallas treated stankoven. If savoie is ready after deadline sweet if not, no rush. O’Reilly looks amazing, by time the Henrique contract is up he could potentially step in on his ELC. The way Philp has looked is also a plus. If he doesn’t make the team out of camp I have my money on him being a regular 4C during playoffs. Might be too far to look ahead now but I see the oilers adding a top 4 RHD by atleast the deadline and potentially a 1B goalie if the oil aren’t comfortable with Pickard. Great situation to be in tbh.
