I haven’t put in any names for this grid yet, but I am a certified Brian Elliott hater and he was just god awful when he was with us and is my pick for this
Edit: Brian Elliott was a huge reason why we got swept by the Ducks in 2017

I nominate myself, because if i was a goalie and played a game for the flames i wouldn’t stop a single puck

Trevor Kidd. First round pick that everyone believed would be great
Pylonius
Eddie Lack for sure.

Roman Turek for being an absolute disappointment.

The worst goalie to play for the Flames was Grant Fuhr. In backing up Freddy Brathwaite, he was more than a full point of GAA higher and had an .856 save percentage to Freddy’s .905

Grant Fuhr
One season in the twilight of his career. Former All Star. Went 5-13-2. Looks bizarre in a Flames uniform. Played behind a pretty bad team though.
hellodankess
Mike Smith. The terrible giveaways, the arm flailing, the blaming the other players, his attitude with the Oilers.
Master-Defenestrator
By the numbers it was Eddie Lack
By pure form 22-23 Markstrom was a historically massive fall from grace.
But spiritually (even if he never actually played for the Flames) the only answer is Tyler Parsons

Brent Krahn – Drafted ***9th overall*** in the 2000 NHL Draft and never played an NHL game for the Flames. Though he did get 1 game with the Stars and made 3 saves on 6 shots…

Mike Smith for his on ice performance and his media statements after becoming an Oiler.

I’ve never been so pissed off at a Flames goalie than Brian Elliott. He was the reason we got swept in 2017.
Also the Blues drafted Jordan Kyrou with the pick we gave them.

Sadly, it’s Grant Fuhr. I love him in St.Louis as a kid. But he was so bad as a Flame.

Jon Gillies

Kris Russell. The only goalie that refused to wear pads.

I don’t know how this dude hasn’t been mentioned but…. Joey MacDonald.

Are we including the Atlanta era? Yves Bélanger had a worse save percentage and GAA than Grant Fuhr in only two fewer games played. However, Fuhr’s numbers came during the dead puck era.

All I’m saying is this is the last chance to get Lanny McDonald on this picture.

Brian Elliot. He was supposed to be our Savior. Sucked hard
hey-there-yall
Maybe not the absolute worst but I can’t stand markstrom. He sucked so hard for all but one and half seasons.
Fun-Register-9066
Grant Fuhr then Andre Trefilov. Both came with hope that never materialized
pizzapost
is there a minimum games played for goalie? Tyrone Garner played 3 pretty brutal games
