Without Doughty and ROY, this defense is in trouble. Goaltending is average, not bad, but average. This team will struggle to score and that's before any injuries. If they lose Kempe or Kopitar they'll be in real trouble. I don't like the way the roster is configured. You build from the net out. They need a dominating D-Man. They need a top 10 – goal scorer. Could Byfield elevate his game– sure. But elevating probably looks like 25-27 goals max.
