I hope that he does well this year and I hope people/the press are kinder. It will be nice to see him doing press where he isn't constantly feeling like he has to dispel narratives. I want Nurse to be a big contributing factor to a cup win and for people to recognize him for it.
I really hope this guy turns out to be the player he is getting paid to be. Hope he learns from his mistakes and works on his defensive game instead of trying to join the rush and getting burned in his end. We have enough offense. We need him to be a defensive juggernaut. Unfortunately I think his ego and lackadaisical attitude ends up hurting the team every year.
Why is the coach talking about "finding a good player to play with nurse…" which translates to " we need someone to insulate our 9 million dollar defenseman" at a certain point having one of Mcdavids friends on the team isnt worth tanking the defense, lets find one of his childhood friends, pay him league min and slap some skates on him atleast insulating him would make sense

He's got long term deep potential. I was mad over Broberg and Darnells playoff……but knowing he's ours makes me proud as a fan.
