Everyone knows that's not true
I disagree Oilers are number #1. For all other teams know we are just trying to let them overestimate us thinking they are better. But WE WILL HAVE THE Playoffs, the Stanley Cup. Pansies Panthers can never prepare for their downfall like a Hurricane that just goes away in June 2024
Being an Oilers fan. They need to come out firing from the gates. They have to show how badly they want it and keep it going all the way thru. Yes they can't win them all but the ones that matter they should win
we are not talking here about comparable teams, all 'good' with serious question marks. Yes, each team has some problems, but to start with, the Oilers are the Real-Madrid of Hockey these days, there is not close comparison to Vegas, Kings or Canucks, none of which have any serious aspirations to the cup! Yes, some will bash back, but that is the reality. Canucks are not Barcelona, they ar barely an Atletico Madrid, a constand 2nd in any comparison to the Oilers. And Vegas and Kings are Valencia and Sevilla, simply different leagues altogether, by contrast to Real Madrid. No distant 3 and 4, Canucks are the DISTANT 2nd, then 3 and 4, you guys can dream but never achieve.

The Canucks do NOT have more depth than the oilers. The star power isn’t even close to the oilers and both bottoms 6s are relatively the same but I prefer oilers 3rd line especially when u get a healthy Kane coming back in the new year. Oilers also have more cap flexibility to make a bigger trade by the deadline.

Canucks have relied elite goaltending since the days of Luongo and falter when they dont have it . They over achieved all year and I dont see a repeat . Beggs should have to shave his head if the Oilers do better than the casucks
