  1. It's the preseason. Nothing to get up in arms about. I was watching both games too and it's not like players were making egregious mistakes or anything. There were a ton of good scoring chances, they had great puck control, just went Pittsburghs way in the end. So long as the prospects are playing well (Kasper) then it's good, that's what the preseason is for. As for the Buffalo game, great to see MBN and Soderblom get some nice looking goals, and it was a close game for two, B squad teams, especially against another team with a deep prospect pool like Buffalo.

  2. no way the full red wings team got smashed by an ahl roster lol

detroit played 2 games in one night and lost both of them, trust the yzerplan !! 😂

  3. 1-6 on the PP and giving up a shorthanded goal is the most annoying part, but it's a low effort preseason game. Just sounds too much like the same old same old for the Wings on special teams.

  4. Kinda embarrassing they can't get it done with most of their A team playing against a Crosby-less Penguins team. But it is a preseason game so its more disappointing than it is some huge red flag to get up in arms about. Silver lining is that Kasper had another great game and Raymond at least scored a goal. Cossa kinda got screwed by a very weak third period after they dominated in the 2nd, especially in the last minutes but couldn't get a goal which seemed to be the story of the night. They got plenty of chances against Pittsburgh but they couldn't get the job done. My biggest gripe is the shorthanded goal.

  5. Red Wings NHL team got smoked by the Pittsburgh AHL team. There is a 5 word answer to help solve this conundrum. "Dan Watson becomes head coach."
