Ginning and Grans are not good.

Kolosov looked pretty good considering he faced the Isles A team.

    Risto looked great too.

  2. hatylotto

Almost beat Isles full squad (minus Sorokin). Kolosov looked very promising. Andrae and Richard had a good game. Risto stock hopefully shoots through the roof as the season starts. I’ll take it.

Kolosov earned a serious look for #2 at the very least, the goal he let in you can’t really fault him for. Made a lot of solid saves.

I concur with what another said in the game thread: Risto scoring 40 this year.

When I first saw the lineup I thought all 7 goals scored tonight would have been on the Isles tally! That result is about as good as we could have hoped for – I didn’t see much, but sounds like a good game to learn a bit more about some of our potential players/future?

My take away is that I’m ready for regular tv broadcasts

  6. Free-Supermarket-516

I mean, not bad for half an AHL team

I’m used to getting disappointed at this point (aren’t we all) but Risto has looked great. If he can serve as a rock-solid bottom four defender with attitude this season I’ll be happy.

I was at the game. Fedotov didn’t look great in person. Felt lumbering and slow. Kolosov, on the other hand, made some great looking saves, at least from my perspective. I’d love it if we had a legit competitor for backup goaltender behind Errson.
