Looks pretty close to how they’ve been running lines in preseason. If the Fowler trade rumors are true I think it’d be nice to be able to get a solid bottom 6 forward eventually as a return.
I think Luneau has looked great in preseason so far, with Mintyukov out hurt I think Fowler/Dumoulin/Lacombe down the left and Gudas/Zellweger/Luneau down the right would be decent opening night defense.
I also wish we’d rebalance the middle six lines slightly. Zegras-Mctavish-Terry is tons of offensive creativity but they had some issues getting clean zone exits in their preseason game, and fabbri-strome-vatrano were okay defensively but then looked lost trying to create anything in the o-zone.

I think we’re putting a lot of pressure on our young defencemen to not have sophomore slumps. Forward group feels improved, but it feels like we’re like 1 injury away from repeating last year.

Clang isn’t an nhl goalie. Suchanek is the future. But he’s injured. I would rate Dansk above Clang.
