Training Camp Stock Up & Stock Down: Tyler Toffoli Will Provide A Massive Scoring Boost

Heading into the second week of preseason games, which San Jose Sharks players have seen their stock rise and fall based on offseason expectations? Start with why Tyler Toffoli is shaping up to lead the team in goals based on his usage and playing with Macklin Celebrini and William Eklund. Also, discuss Danil Gushchin, Ty Dellandrea, and Carl Grundström, who have all taken advantage of their preseason opportunities. Then, move to the blue line to examine the rise of Luca Cagnoni and how the speed of the game hasn’t been too much for him. Plus, why does Henry Thrun need to have a big week? Finally, Vitek Vanecek looked good in his limited preseason action. Is he set for a bounce-back year with the Sharks?

  1. Always high on the Thrunado… former C for “Haaaavaad” but I think Cagnoni beats him unless he skydives off a cliff he’s looked so dang good! Anyways, Pickles needs to step aside to make way for the future unless he’s ❤️‍🩹 💯 healthy but Cagnoni is the top of the pile for me.. he’s outplayed everyone!!! ❤🎉 I think Cagnoni deserves NHL games at the start of the year, then send him down once Pickles 🥒 is ready…. Thrun as 7th d-man in the big club.
