  1. I don’t believe gross. If he didn’t get offered 64 million and wanted it he would’ve implied he wanted it. He didn’t because he wants more than 64.

  2. If swayman gets traded he won’t get an 7 year deal on any team with cup aspirations. I don’t think the market for an 7 year contract is very big in fact I think it might be non existent

  3. Canucks fans are so delusional

With what money are you going to sign Swayman?

    Hilarious

  4. If only he was a ufa, it would be amazing to see another team put neelys bals in a vice over this with an offer sheet

  5. Gio get off the glue Swayman is staying with Bruins because he hasen't demanded a trade all summer. That tells me he likes their roster.

  6. Not sure how Detroit could afford to have Swayman on the roster they have less than 200,000 dollars left in cap space.

  7. Neely is a passionate dude, give the guy some slack…Pressure is always on management to produce. Neely did low ball the player .

  8. Canucks cant afford what swayman is asking especially having a 5mil retention for the next 2 season and having to resign boeser and hoglander

  9. My thoughts: Red Wings would need to trade Cossa or Augustine, period. BOS wouldn't accept a trade without one of them, and tbh the Wings wouldn't want to block their progression anyway. In addition to that, a first round pick likely equals the value of Swayman – and this is probably light because the 1st would be presumed as a late-first. Then, they'd want a back-fill on goalie – Husso if we're lucky, Lyon if we aren't.

Then, there's the cap gymnastics of opening at least $8M. Copp, Holl, Husso, Maatta come to mind. So we're probably talking another 1st round pick or 2nds and a prospect/Johansson to do that.
    So, summary:
    DET receives: Jeremy Swayman
    BOS receives: Cossa/Augustine, 1st round pick, Lyon/Husso
Cap dump team receives: Andrew Copp, Olli Maatta (if Husso isn't traded), 1st round pick or 2 2nd round picks and Johansson.
It's too many moving pieces to pull off imo, and we'd need to be 100% sure Kasper or Danielson will play in the NHL this season. And yeah, Swayman's good, but I think the risk is too much to bet on too – unless we wanted to pull Brandon Carlo in the deal too 😂

  10. I wonder if the Swayman camp let the Bruins know he’d sign a contract in that particular 8 million dollar range if Ulmark was traded and then bullied management once they knew they had the upper hand as a result of the trade.

  11. We Already Have AuGGie and Cossa. Why give that up? We'll have the best tandem in hockey soon enough and it will last longer then Sway.

  12. "I'm going to throw up" 🤣😂🤣😂🤣 And he read it out loud, lol. You Crack me up, Lego, lol. Keep rolling, bud!
