    Considering this was (arguably) the strongest roster we’ve had, not a great outcome by any measure. Hopefully we can win the last two games, and get on a roll heading into the regular season.

    We need a predictions thread where we consolidate the hot takes and refer back during the season so we can go “I told y’all this would happen before the season even started! Just check the early hot takes thread!”

    EDIT just so people don’t think I’m a coward for not offering my hottest take:

    It’s too early, this is a heap of players, not a team, these fellas are just getting used to playing with each other, and Luke Richardson is a shit coach who should be nowhere near an NHL bench. This take is also from the last season.
