Give Poile more credit….. He was here for 25 years and 24 or them was very tight budget restraints of what he could get…. Barry was a magician and created competitive teams, and coached the max out of players. Now, they had Mitch korn that took good goalie and made them elite, vochoun, Dan Ellis and pekka, now he’s coming back, and he will saros better….
I think we are going to finish in the top 5 in the league this year…. Top two lines will be hard to handle and we will have a hard hitting fourth line and sissons who do not get a lot of credit will be centering the 3 rd line…. This time will have a skilled fast line…. An evangelista will have a break out year
I don’t think many will be able to take on all 4 lines….
If they all buy in, we could have recording scoring and defense is improved….
Special teams will improve our pp to mid league to top 5….. PK will improve.
This appears to a team with tons of elite talent, I now include forsberg into the elite status…..
So much excitement for this season we haven’t seen in many years…..
The only issue scares me is the backup situation…. Good back up, but is he able to take over long period if needed? Maybe he will surprise me like lankinen did…. Fingers crossed we won’t need to find out!!!
Last year we had no expectations and had a great streak, but now we have expectations…. And lots of pressure to win

Might be a homer here, but I think if all the Preds can stay healthy for a bulk of the season, I’d take them over the Avs and the Stars.
