  1. The Sheriff better get his act together as that penalty kill got torched (3 goals).

  2. Difference between the hits is that WiFi clearly aimed for the head, whereas Grieg's hit was just really late. That's a massive difference.

  3. This may be the most biased take I’ve seen about this game lol.

Greig did not get Dach up high at all. It was a half second late and Dach didn’t see him coming, but it was shoulder to shoulder/chest. The refs weren’t even calling a penalty on it until Dach was shaken up.

Then they reviewed it (so had all the time in the world) and said it was a a minor. Which was the right call. If he actually got Dach up high they would’ve called him for it.

What Xhekaj did is much worse, and looks much worse considering he just got off with a slap on the wrist a few days ago for another retaliatory play.

Chekaj aims high, jumps into the hit, and leaves the chicken wing out to make sure he gets a piece of Stützle. Even if he only clipped him the intent was still to hurt a player. That’s why he got a 5min major.

Just because Xhekaj sucks at trying to hurt guys doesn’t absolve him of trying to hurt guys.

  4. If you watch the hit closely, Stutzle hits himself with his own stick which he held high for no reason. Xhekaj's elbow only pushed it against his face. Look teams are doing cheap shots against the Habs so there has to be some sort of answer.

  5. This seems like a bush league… CHANGE THE PRE SEASON FORMAT… maybe play amongst your OWN players? Bettman has no grip on getting the refs to be pros; where is player safety here? This league just isn't up to snuff…

  6. If people would quit trying to Injure canadiens players this wouldn't happen.

  7. And you wonder why Sens fans don't like you?
Your video title says it all – the Greig hit was a fraction of a second late. The Arber hit was dirty and head hunting. Totally unacceptable for the pre season and you call it "destroying" not dirty.

Then you go on to say Greg's hit was "a suspiciously high hit near the shoulder" aka a clean hit??

And finally you think hitting a shoulder is the same as sticking out your elbow??

Bro. Do better. Try being unbiased for once.

  8. Graig hit was worse. Pushing upper shoulder/throath to make him fall backward.

The ref should have ejected him.

Tkatchuck should have been ejected as well for his assault.

St-Laurent is still being a beer league ref with a chip on his shoulder.
