This team has it all to make at the very least a deep run this year and be competitive, hopefully a few cups in the near future. I think the boys may have a slow start due to the new coach, new system and new teammates but I think they’ll be a force. LGD!
I think the offense numbers are a bit high, but the wins are fair. Easy to see why Marky will be successful at net. ECF is a successful season if compared to last.
Very pessimistic take you have. I said it earlier: franchise points record (119), Presidents TROPHY and the Cup.

because I am a gloomy Gus but, because I believe there are still many questions to be answered this season.
The goaltending, defense and even the offense have yet to prove themselves, in my eyes. Add into the mix a new coach,…..
I think this season will be one of adjustment more than anything else. We will have to wait till the end of the season to find out
who is the real deal and who is not. I think outside of Jack, Jesper & Nico, everyone else is a question mark with everything to prove.
That includes Keef as well. I think we make the playoffs, anything else would be a historic failure, but let's just see what this organization
can do, for real. Ace, I am not as bold or brave as you and for that I give you big respect.
I hope at the end of the season you will be brutally honest to call out the inevitable fails that will come this year. I'm not going to say who, just that,
if nothing else, the law of averages says, some dudes are going to suck it up. Please call out the people who are overpaid at years end.
A complete team? I don't think so. A Better team? I do think so.
Where do we go from here!? Anyone's guess but, in spite of my reservations, I hope you are right!

Meier and Bratt both need to play on the right. Personally I like Noeson playing LW with Jack and Bratt and having Timo right of Hischier with Lebanc on the left. That leaves two top lines that throw pucks at the net with one person who loves to camp in front of the goalie. Then, the bottom 6, who gives a crap because we have more talent than we have spots. But hey I'd take ECF baby. Let's goooo

I think Bratt will get to 90 this season. Constantly doing better each year. Bratt needs to play all 82 game though. Jack is hard to predict since he is injury prone. Please hit 100 points!
You should predict PIM’s for MacDermid. I’m going to go with 120 and maybe arrested (30 hours of community service) for murdering Rempe when he puts his fist through Rempe’s skull.
My guess is the Devils get 113 points for the year. I’m not predicting the playoffs, yet.

To me it’s all about the goalie. As long as he’s good and healthy then were a top 5 team in the league like in 2022-2023. No doubt in my mind. LGD!

No doubt! I went to the game Monday night. The crowd was chanting Brouduer because of how good he played. I know his father was real proud, Broudour Jr. just like his father! No rebounds nothing!

Generally reasonable, I think the Cotter one is a little pie in the sky, but he's gonna be a great player. I really think that fourth line is going to be insane, it might end up being the best fourth line, or close to it, in the NHL. It leaked after this posted but Jack Hughes apparently spilled that Casey will Debut tomorrow vs Buffalo, I'm curious what you think he's going to do this season. Personally, I think this is a stint, I think he gets a handful of games and then goes to the AHL with a full game plan on what to work on. That's not a slight on him ofc, and the way he's been playing I wouldn't be surprised if he stays on the roster all season. Other than that, yeah I could easily see this team making an ECF or even straight winning a Cup, but I think they've got a good playoff run in them this year.

I think with we play really good Defense with this upgrade it will fuel our high power potential offense
I hope #47 blasts the opponents like an AK47…but Idk, Ace…I am hoping for a great season, and a deep playoff run…but idk….we have A LOT of summer rust to shake off. Hoping its just some growing pains under a new coach…but, after last season, I have the mindset of no expectations, no let downs.

One interesting point you may want to elaborate on, is what are the x-factors for this season? You've more or less established the baseline expectations, so I'd be curious to see where you perceive the most "gray area"
My prediction before the Hischier draft when we got the #1 pic was a Stanley Cup by 2025 it still stands and I think we get it done 22 years in the making. That 03 Ducks final feels like it was 50 years ago 😂 always go back and watch the 03 DVD Stanley cup run, 2025 Champs! Devils in 6 vs Oilers
