  1. The O finally have their Breakout Game in 2024. Goff was Supreme. The Brown Goff touchdown was awesome. Jamos 70 yard TD pass, wow. Great win.

  2. Such a great game! So many game balls to give out…

The Seahawks did everything they could putting together some truly patient and gritty drives to stay in this thing in the first half. Geno has hit a new level this year, and Kenneth Walker III is another guy like Montgomery that's incredibly efficient and hard to bring down. A great effort from another team that looks like a playoff contender. At this point the NFC West and North may be the toughest divisions in the NFC if not the NFL and the Lions have to go through both of them plus some other good teams to boot. The greatest threat to the Lions winning the Super Bowl this year may be the attrition of injuries due to physical play.

Jared Goff: What can you say about a performance like that? Still, he got the second highest QB rating on the team in this game, so … Better keep working lol. Actually, that was an all time great performance from the Lions offense that will probably be downplayed in the media. Tom Brady would love to have a perfect game on his resume, but he don't!! GB

Montgomery: They start games with him to set the tone and they finish games with him to seal it. In between they try to get Gibbs as involved as possible, but so far this year Monty is the better back. if they gave him all the goal line carries like most teams would, he might be leading fantasy football. Such a stud in all facets. GB

Jamo: I've been worried about Jamo staying engaged with the game if Goff wasn't giving him targets. It's an underrated quality in receivers to block and run routes all game while the QB keeps feeding everyone else while being ready to turn it on the second the ball does come their way. I can think of a bunch of star wide receivers that need to be fed to look like stars. Both in blocking and receiving he was giving it a ton of effort. GB

Glasgow and the Oline. I thought the Lions might struggle to run against the Seahawks defense, but the Oline was making just enough room when it counted, and the interior of the Oline looked great the whole game. GB

Amon Ra: He had to show up Goff with a perfect passer rating on Goffs big night… Dick move, but you get a GB.

LaPorta and Wright: More guys that do all the dirty work, but are always ready to step up as receivers when the ball comes their way. GB

Yeah, pretty much the whole offense and Ben Johnson deserve game balls.

Hutch: He's such a force. He's like a wrecking ball that just broke out of an insane asylum. He impacts so many plays, game in and game out and is the Lions best weapon on Defense. GB

Reader: Even a great RB like Walker couldn't get any traction up the middle when Reader was in. Also got a solo sack on Geno, which is crazy. GB

Levi: Still not quite dominate, but he's the most consistent bull rusher on the team outside of Hutch. GB

Rodrigo and Campbell: They needed to step up and they did. On a night when Alex wasn't his best, these guys were. GB

Kirby: That was his best game so far… Outstanding stuff getting his third endzone INT this year! So far the Lions safety's have produced 1 INT in every game… GB

Arnold: Aaron Glenn wants his corners to play this way and I think he knows a thing or two about the CB position. I'm not gonna hold them accountable for the flags when this is how they're coached. That being said, I expect they'll make small adjustments throughout the year to get more in line with how the refs call it. We don't want this sort of thing to cost them in the playoffs, but as long as they keep the W-L record in good shape, then I'm willing to let them figure it out during the season. Arnold is always in phase, unless he's on the ground, and isn't afraid of anyone. He's playing some great ball this year already as a rookie.

CDIII: This has to be one of Davis's best games as a pro. He was left on an island with a freak athlete all game long and he rose to the challenge. Metcalf isn't looking forward to playing him again and I love it. I was worried that he might get a penalty by how he was going at the refs after the first PI, but the second time he was calm and was just trying to let the ref know what he's dealing with from DK. Davis will sometimes get beat, but he fights on every single play. What a great trade. GB

Jack Fox: He didn't get much work but that's a good thing. GB

Jake Bates: He doesn't instill a ton of confidence when he's kicking extra points, but as long as they all go in then who am I to judge? Also, saved a TD with that tackle he made. GB

Almost the entire team really showed up for this one. Great team victory going into the bye.

Overall, both of these offenses did one hell of a job against some stout defenses. With all these penalties it's hard to keep track, but if the Lions didn't get all these PI's in the red zone I wonder how many TD's they would have given up so far this season? Other than those, this is a top 10 defense for sure, maybe even top 5.

Also, the Lions are must see TV week in an week out. Love this team!

  3. Been waiting all year for the offense to play like this. For some reason, AG's defense always makes Geno Smith look like Mahomes but we got enough stops to get the win this time. Also, not settling for a single field goal was huge.
