  1. I feel like Dvorsky's a smart kid, he knows the score and likely sees the path Bolduc and Dean traversed last year leading into where they are this year. Surely he knows fans are excited to see him, but we all want what's best for him and the Blues, so go down, work hard and learn and we'll see you soon!
    Let's Go Blues!

  2. Bold prediction, if the Blues don’t make the playoffs the Blues move on from Brandon Saad or Brayden Schenn and if Schenn has a year like last year it’s him which opens the door for Dalibor Dvorsky to come up and take shifts with the middle 6 to test the waters for next season similar to how we saw Boulduc and Dean taking shifts with higher lines. They could even begin healthy scratching Radek Faksa, Brayden Schenn, or Brandon Saad to take inventory of what they have.

Yes I’m aware Schenn has a NMC but he transitions to a 15 team no trade list next season and Armstrong approaches him knowing this. Same with Saad who is already on a 15 team no trade list.

  3. For some important perspective on Dvorsky not making the Blues’ NHL roster out of his first professional training camp, it should be noted that the same thing happened to NHL Hall of Fame member, Bernie Federko. Bernie and his winger Brian Sutter (he didn’t make the roster in his first camp either) were both called up in mid-season. Furthermore, Federko had played his whole life on NHL sized ice. Therefore, you could say he had an experience advantage over Dvorsky.

Even if he doesn’t get called up this year, as long as Dvorsky is making developmental progress in the AHL – all is good.
