That makes 21 contracts out of 23, right? Doubt they’d want to burn a full year of Cristall’s ELC this year even if he looks good, Miro is still waiver exempt, and there isn’t really anyone else in Hershey good enough to fill an extra slot above them. So my guess is that Vrana is in, we keep up Cristall for 9 games and then bring Miro in after that. Good chance it’ll be Milano, Vrana, Lapierre, and Miro fighting to stay in the starting lineup instead of being extra forwards for most of the year.

Presumably to send both to Hershey?
That would give us the 8 D-men if that’s how the Caps wanna role into the 23 roster.
So 3 more moves to be made for get to 23. Sheppard will be 1. Backstom is 2 and Oshie is 3 I’m thinking
