  1. Per David Alter Nick Robertson is absent from Leafs practice due to an upper body injury. He is considered day-to-day.

  2. For pity's sake TRADE NYLANDER!!! Overvalued contract for a player whose best effort is when he's cherry-picking, who doesn't play inside his own zone, AND a guy who frequently laughs (on camera) whenever he gives up a goal from bad defensive coverage! Nick Robertson has virtually given his blood, sweat & tears EVERY shift, with an insanely undervalued contract who WANTS to contribute each night, and gives you more grit than Nylander (mind you there's more grit in a steak at The Keg than there is in Nylander so it's not saying much)…

Some of the NEEDED things we could potentially get in return for Nylander:

    * Cap Space!!!
    * A decent 3rd line centre (or you can take a swing at a 2nd line centre who plays BOTH sides of the rink)!
    * A big RD (if Hakanpaa isn't good to go and OEL continues to look as rough)

…Best of all we get to keep Marner once we dump Nylander! By putting Robertson on a 2nd line with Domi & Tavares, we don't lose too much offense (yes of course Nylander is the ''higher talent'' but it would be great to have a 2nd line that knows how to play BOTH sides of the ice while still having above average talent!)

A better 2nd line + cap space + keeping Marner + adding prospects and/or depth…all for dumping Nylander?! C'mon it's a no-brainer Boston Pizza Junior!!! Time for Robertson (and the Leafs) to be rewarded for all that he's been put through and all that he continues to do!

  3. Robertson would be a good fit with JT. And Marner. Someone who can get him the puck and use that shot of his.

  4. Unfortunately, he's injured again. Just a minor one, but do we keep an injury prone player, or trade him when his value is this high? I know you guys want to keep him, and he definitely has impressed so far, but it's a tough call….

  5. Many teams are going with goalies by committee, due to how hard it is to find an elite goalie, but this might just prove to become the way.

  6. Knies – Matthews – Marner
    McMann – Tavares – Nylander
    Patches – Domi – Robertson
    Lorentz – Kampf/Holmberg – Reavo
    Trade Jarnkrok
    Rielly – Tanev
    OEL – McAbe
    Benoit – Timmins
    Rafai – Meyers
    Hakanpaa – LTIR
    Trade Liljigren

  7. Flames gave up on Martin St Louis which turned out to be a huge mistake as he was instrumental and defeating them in the Stanley Cup final. Flames also gave up on Marc Savard (as a player.) my point is that there is a very long list of very successful smaller players. I just hope that he can stay healthy. Big effective talent I think.
