  1. A lot of people are praising HBK for preaching humility as he himself struggled to be humble during his young days. But I believe it's absolutely hypocritical of someone to preach humility when he himself never had it. He who never put anyone else before himself is asking others to show humility. I mean not everyone has the same character. Not everyone gets that boost or energy with humility. Some people succeed while being a jerk and Michaels himself is the best example alive. Let wrestlers remain in their natural characters. Success and failure are simply two sides of one's career.

If one has to take learn humility, then it should be preached by someone who actually practised it. Someone like Foley who had put himself through a lot just to deliver entertaining content to audience while putting others above to give them a push. Then someone like Rey Mysterio who is always there with his giving attitude and despite them giving so much to the organisation and to their audience, they still belong to the list of greatests of all time.

  2. Give me a reason why we should keep you.

“You’re right Shawn. I haven’t been at the top of my game, but I wanted to become a wrestler after your second run from 2002-2010, which wound not have happened if you’d not had a second chance. Give me a second chance and I won’t let you down.”

  3. Cannot stand how HBK voice sounds it’s like he forced himself to sound a certain way for so long it became permanent

  4. If that isn’t far beyond rich that Shawn is questioning a wrestler/potential WWE employee’s “likability” 😊😅😂

  5. All this stupid show is for Hbk and hhh and everyone else in the back to get some airtime because they all miss the damn spotlight and attention

  6. So, Shawn Michaels is telling somebody he needs to have "humility" and "be likeable" to succeed in wrestling…..is that what I'm hearing?

  7. This is why shoot interviews on podcast platforms and YouTube are so popular instead of reality TV. The annoying music added in for effect, the camera cuts, panning in and out… not only does it take away the context of everything going on, it also takes away the realness of it. I would’ve much rather listen to a raw uncut interview then watch this watered down garbage

  8. I know HBK was an unlikable egotistical douchebag back in the 90s but he isn't like that anymore. He wants the next generation of wrestlers to learn from his mistakes.

  9. If Shawn today was talking to Shawn in 97, he would have told him the same thing. No one knows that behavior better then Shawn. Glad he found God and learned humility. Hes a gret human being today bc of it and it makes him a better teacher.

  10. There is something cathartic about seeing an older wiser more mature Shawn Michaels telling young up and comers to check their ego.

  11. Shawn Michaels knows ALL TOO WELL the consequences of lacking humility. He was the most disliked person backstage in the mid-to-late-90s. Eventually, he did learn to be humble and worked hard to do better when he came back… And now it seems that he really wants the younger talent to learn humility early, because he himself lacked it in his heyday and deeply regrets it.

  12. HBK lecturing someone young about humility being the 1st and most important thing they look for is, about the same as Satan handing out flyers to people asking if they've considered letting Jesus into their life.

  13. None of the great professional wrestlers (with the exception of the undertaker) were humble and Shawn is a prime example of that. 😂😂😂
