  1. At this point it’s best for both sides to move on. Good luck to the next team that trades for the drama he brings.

  2. What you guys in the media have not talked about, which drives everything, is the Bs's owner. He is not Mark Cuban. He is a consenionier who made his billions the hardway, selling dogs & beers one at a time at the Garden & elsewhere. Jeremy Jacobs does not throw money around like it is water. He doesn't love hockey, like Mark Cuban loves basketball, and so he spends what he needs to to keep people in the seats. He will never overpay or want to set the market for any position. Swayman & his agent simply don't appreciate this, and that is why Swayman ultimately won't sign with Boston & will get dealt.

  3. He haven't been a B sense he showed his reaction about the arbitration process. He can't let it go just let him go – go for a good first rounder – a good center to be number one

  4. How can u not mention the fact that Sway & his agent learned Ullmark was dealt & they legit evil laughed rubbing there hands together. this is not a guy who's with Bs program. It's against the culture Bergy & Z created. F this cry baby

  5. 64 million offered 🫴? I'm guessing $8 @ 8 years? 9.5 ×8 = 76 . So all $#^&& $#!t for 10 million. Swayman has to go.

  6. Sick of this BS.Can someone please offer a trade to take this guy, this crusader for all goalies going forward? He first chose to make it public with his statements and look where it has gotten him.

  7. The bad energy that would now be in the team environment will yield nothing but bad things at this point. GM screwed up by not securing the goalie situation for sure, and what started off as just a normal negotiation has morphed into a needless escalation fueled by a shabby communication issue all around, causing bad blood which will linger no matter how its resolved. My hope at this point is that they let him sit and watch, and i hope Korpisalo has a career year and maybe humbles Swayman a little for the next time he tries to think he's irreplaceable. Goalies get injured a lot. 8 years is a long time and he's likely have his share of injuries. wouldn't it be nice to have the peace of mind that your contract will assure you still have a nice income? I think these high profile agents have ruined all pro sports over the past few decades and made people exceptionally greedy and arrogant.

  8. Bruins will end up trading him and ww will get jack shit in return and we will be the red sox all year. Having to score 4 to 5 goals per game to win games bc our tenders will b turnstyles.

  9. Sway holding a grudge and his agent is an ahole. This may sour everything. Nothimg good so far. Waiting for good news. W Sway in net its a cup run season w out barely aking wild card if not even makimg playoffs

  10. Swayman (132 NHL games) and Lewis Gross (23 clients) are both seriously delusional about their worth, send him west, let him sit and sign a cheep bridge. The tail does not wag the dog in Boston.

  11. He isn’t franchise material. He’s damaged goods after arbitration! He asked for arbitration and now can’t get over it. Not Bruin worthy. We will find better.

  12. Great goalie. Tons of potential. Using past criticism can be a great motivating tool. But at this point it might be an anchor to his mental strength under future criticism. Love ya Sway, but if you're not putting the patch on your sweater first in certain facets then it's time to go.

  13. wait. mentally tough? i think u could argue what were seeing right now is a argument against that

  14. Are there teams out there that would pay Swayman more than 8×8 ? I kinda doubt it. If so, I would imagine the cap would deter there being many, especially good teams.

  15. 😊This guy is too soft. Hurt feelings, cry baby. Needs a hug!
Move on and trade his ass. Who needs the BS

  16. Conor w the Boston accent.. but will say words like “youngER” “yeaRs” “entiRE” “maRgins” and “dangER” but then go “mAHHket” “shaaaaHHKs” and Ahhhhbitration”

  17. At this point the bruins front office needs to put a fair offer infront of swayman and tell him accept it or sit for the season.

  18. Bruins fan since 1988…..I dont want this greedy crybaby as our goaltender for the next 8 years. I dont care about a fair agreement anymore I want Jeremy Swayman the F outta here. I would absolutely love to see Sway play an entire season as the starter for the Sens, Kraken, Sabres, or Habs. My guess is 40 games in and that 10 mil asking price will look like a joke. Goalies benefit big time from playing with the Bruins, a structurally sound team with a top notch defensive system and a brilliant goaltender coach who year after year are always near the top of the league for least goals allowed in the NHL. Ullmark just had his turn and turned it into a Vezina trophy and a fat new contract. You know who is next on the list to massively benefit from playing on the Defensively stout Bruins…….Joonas Korpisalo.

  19. Unless he steps up fires his agent and takes the deal none and no other team out there is going to give a part time goalie that kind of money

  20. "Setting the goalie market"?!?! Who the f*""** does Swayman think he is? He won one series last playoffs and he's now "setting the goalie market"? This whole thing is about a thin-skinned, unproven goalie asking for the the moon, the sun and all the stars; he's dreaming. The team is built for Jeremy Swayman…NO! This team is built for whosever in net. I hope he gets an Offer Sheet for whatever he's asking. I would let him sit. Swayman has won next to nothing…no Vezina, no Cup, not even a Conference Championship. He is getting overpaid at 8×8. This is ridiculous!! Let him sit this year, then offer him 6×6 and, if he doesn't take it let him sit next year and watch him sign for 3×3 after that. I hope he gets booed off the ice when he next skates onto Garden ice.

  21. Ullmark was the guy.. we trade the wrong player.. not having swayman signed before Ullmark trade created all this mess. Swayman can go back to Alaska. How can bruins keep this guy knowing how their fan base is..

  22. jeremy is lucky he's not a teacher. constant criticism from everyone and every angle. OH and REALLY underpaid.

  23. Why on earth would you trade your 1B goalie before securing your 1A goalie to a contract? Looking for someone to blame? Look in the mirror. 🙄

  24. Both sides are now dicking around over less than $1M. If $8M doesn't get it done and 8.5 does, the B's should just bite the bullet and pay up. It will look like a bargain in a year or two.

  25. "He went to Maine! It's not like he's this highly recruited star" Bro UMaine has been nicknamed Goalie U (Garth Snow, Mike Dunham, Jimmy Howard, Ben Bishop, Scott Darling, etc)

  26. No one will touch him with this agent. Scott Bore-ass lite. He's proved he has great potential, not that he is in the same class as Helleybuck or Shesterkin(60+ games/yr)

  27. …very few saw and called this before it unfolded. Just sentiments after what they were allowed to know was revealed…mush like world events. And then they want to get paid for those sentiments. What a curiousity. 🤑

  28. Two names to remember in the context of the Jeremy Swayman impasse; Joe Thornton and Tyler Seguin. There is no good reason that yet another young star player gets traded by the Bruins. Losing Swayman in another really bad trade could be even more impactful than the others.

  29. Don't really care. There are tons of goalies arould the AHL,KHL and NHL. Get a different one and move on. If he don't want to play get someone else.

  30. The fans are rightfully turning on Swayman now. He just looks like a giant sensitive baby. Any offer over 60 million is very generous by the team. You do not pay an RFA like a UFA. Totally different situation. The Bruins need to shop him for the best possible deal. If nothing is satisfactory then let him sit.

  31. This is all on your GM , he dropped the ball so badly,,, he had to sign him before he got rid of the other goalie! At the very least you could have brought him back to arbitration, so you had a deadline to negotiate! Neely saying what he did just made it much worse!

  32. just get rid of him I'm a Bruin fan and I'm fed up of hearing the same story its been going on since summer. ship him to a team with no structured defence for a bag of pucks.

  33. I don’t think he’s getting traded unless the Bruins go as high as 8.5 and he rejects it…then honestly he can pound sand and I’ll take what I can get for him. He made this all about himself and getting revenge…. for the Bruins telling him they “couldn’t trust him in the playoffs yet” because HE took them to arbitration had like an .870 playoff save percentage at the time and they weren’t ready to pay him 7 million after one year in the NHL 😂. I think the longer this goes on, the more time it gives people to realize just how delusional and unreasonable his demands really are. That’s why I think he’s actually going to sign soon

  34. 99% he plays again people are taking this way to seriously watch Swayman sign with the Bruins before the Season starts if not then we don't need him a good goalie not required to be a good team ask the Avalanche and Oilers that.

  35. ..from the best tandem in hockey…Bruins messed up badly..Swayman warned them with arbitration,,Neely made it personal..if Swayman walks..Neely and management have made a massive mistake..
