Hard to believe that the only teammates remaining of Bryan Little from today’s game group are Mason Appleton and Connor Hellebuyck.
Given today’s news that the Jets are signing Little to a one-day contract so he can retire with the team, we spoke to the Wisconsin product about the impact Little had on his career as a young player, how he’s tried to have a similar impact on prospects in the organization, how as a late pick he never stops working to earn his spot and more.

An underrated shutdown liner on one of the best shutdown lines in the NHL, Mason Appleton is a warrior workhorse and was a big part of our success last year. He helps, on a line with Adam and Nino, to seize control of the momentum of the game and get the puck deep into the O-zone, whether after an opposing goal or just to hold the puck deep while the 1st or 2nd lines rotate in. Really glad to have Mason (the M in "MAN line") back in WInnipeg.
Have a great season Appy! Thanks@Illegal curve Hockey đ
