Im hearing rumors that mt cousin is a tatget for the Habs i would sream of joy!;
What has Marty been doing the past 2 years …spectating?We don't any Hage passers we need guys that go to the net and guys that shoot instead of making pointless useless passes.Players do need to THINK and not just auto do something however if there is nothing positive given to you then you MUST keep it simple get that puck on net and get bodies there for rebounds and deflections.
What does Laine have to do with anything 31 other teams don't have Laine does that mean NOBODY's PP can worl?
Fix the PP and many of those 1 goal losses become wins.
So with demidov avg 3 min TOI now. I think if this continues he will come over sooner. And thats really not ideal.
I'm actually starting to see a lot of similarities between Hage and Suzuki!
Relax a little on the PP. They have not had the real 1st and 2nd units yet in preseason. Really looking forward to seeing both Thorpe and Hage develop into long term Habs. Great show guys! GO HABS GO!
Michael Hage’s story is an inspiration to us all. He has been through h@ll, and grown stronger through it.
During the 70s, Montreal always had a lethal powerplay. That's always what's been missing since.

We haven't had a good power play since the days of Markov feeding one-timers to Sheldon Souray. Top PP in the league for a few seasons back then. It was awesome lol
You guys are lost thinking coaching is the best they have no defense structure they were worse in the NHl lol they need major help to bring in the correct culture to win playoff hockey

Why is M.St. Louis taking on the added responsibility of the p.p. ??? Surely there is SOMEONE they can find to lead THAT part of the game plan . !! That should be a priority …seeing there lousy record the last 10 years ..!!

They lack offense so I don't see it being good, Demidov might work next year, but they lack skill on top 6, it's weak, we overrate it, Dallas has an amazing top 9 not top 6.
Let’s be honest we still need a LH power forward and a #1 RD. We build up all our prospects but they are all bottom 6. Unless we hit on 1 of them our prospects are not top tier. The skill prospects have no grit and the tough ones not enough skill maybe Thorpe. We need a player with both grit and skill. Wanted McGroerty but that didn’t happen we need a Tkachuk type player. That’s why I wanted Surin instead of Hage at 21. Enforcers are a thing of the past but unless we get harder to play against we will never get the cup. This team lacks grit and that doesn’t bode well for Hutson Cc or Suzuki. Slaf out of all our top 6 is the toughest when he is crashing the boards and owning the front of the net. Would trade everything we have to get a shot at Martone or Desnoyers and I know LD Schaefer. Could you imagine getting Exblad to anchor our defense for a cup run.

As long as monty is our goalie we have very little to get excited about.
All they need to tell the boys is "play hockey". Their structure bs haven't worked in over a decade. They all know how to pass, shoot, and score. Why worry about your placement?

The special teams need to improve for the Habs to make a move up in the standings. This includes the penalty kill. I have given up on the power play and only hope it is not an embarrassment. I hope they can improve the penalty kill which should be more influenced by good coaching.
