  1. The Jets bombed in the playoffs, all pre season predictions show them as 3rd at best in the central or a wild card team. but yet management insists on running it back with the same line up and expects different results, this is crazy. Based on the sample size of the last 2 seasons, anyone who thinks Pionk is a legit 2nd pairing D man and will have a bounce back season, will be truly disappointed.

  2. Well if we don't like our own players we could always trade for guys like Laine, dubois, huberdeau , karlsson. We could trade for a top defender like Seth Jones. It'll be super good right?

  3. My new favourite sports podcast! Great job, I’m just really frustrated with the whole “running it back”. It’s the same song and dance. Also, nice toque Lyss!

Some Winnipeg Jets early predictions now that preseason is over.

    1) Vilardi hits 30+ goals and plays a full season.
    2) Helley has a “down” season and exposes the roster construction and holes this team has
    3) We make the playoffs as a wildcard, but get bounced in the first round
    4) Ehlers is traded for a very good haul at trade deadline
    5) Chibrikov, Salomonson and Lambert dominate the AHL and earn call ups throughout the year
