I think it's funny for a team called the Capitals that both their classic and current logos are rendered in lowercase. They're in desperate need of a brand refresh. Even just switching to a new jersey design with the current logos, anything. They're the last holdout from the Edge template rollout.
I just feel sad for anyone wearing those primary Caps jerseys. Such uninspired, lazy drivel. The third though is awesome! Looks great on the ice too! The white shoulders really pop against the dark blue.

That third should be a primary…Easily lower than Buffalo & Pittsburgh.

The Caps have one of the worst brands in the NHL and it isn't even close, besides the screaming eagle, they have next to nothing notable going on.

The Caps were 8-67-5 in their first season. Let that design go.
I actually dont dislike the Caps home and away as much as others but I do agree it is a dated look. I am not a fan of the alternate.
