    It's only 2 games, but I told you not to worry about preseason. None of the players who made the team were going to try and risk injury for a preseason W

    No receipt needed for the Fitz purchases, just about everything is paying off at this point. The D depth is a good problem, and allows us to change our approach depending on opponent, making us even harder to play. There will be ups and downs this season, but keep consistent and we will punch our ticket for the post season where anything can happen.

    I was at my local laundromat during the 3rd period. I was listening on the MSG app…When Cotter scored the go ahead goal, I screamed "YESSS!!!!"" and everyone at the laundromat started staring at me…but my NJ Devils shirt, along with the headphones said it all. lol Also, that hit by Dillon and then the fight…that is something Scott Stevens would have done! Furthermore, it is starting to rub off on the star players. I saw Bratt lay a hit on someone. Casey is really earning his spot, along with all the other defensemen. I agree, Ace, it's gonna be very difficult to decide who gets in the lineup. Another good thing, is god forbid, we have some injuries, we have some back up players. The blocked shots is amazing. I think General Keefe over the past few practices just said "From this point on, the goalie is your teenage daughter, and the pucks are all the boys that want to do bad things to her. You block those dicks at all costs!" I know its only been 2 games, but cheers, Ace, to hopefully, a kick ass season.

    These last two games have me feeling like the boys used this time over seas to gel and buy into the keefe system , incredible amount of grit and relentlessness. A play that standouts is nearly a break away Dillon gets back and blocks the shot unbeeleevable

    Loving the start, totally different team. This team won't be tossed around like last year. Even Hamilton is trying to play a more physical game. Let's keep it going. Our new guys are playing tremendous. D is playing a physical game.

    I love this team so far! It's amazing we have so much depth at D but like woah on the trading Luke talk! So much wrong with that being he was a rookie, playing with other young players, we were not very good and he tried to make stuff happen that didn't work sometimes as you said Ace. I want to see what Luke looks like WITH Sheldons coaching! How can he not look better just as everyone else has these 2 games? Luke will be a stud, i believe on the same path as Quinn right now.
    I love Casey like everyone here but he got his experience, he showed his worth. Send him to Utica to light it up and tell him next year you're up kid. Maybe even win a chip' in Utica since our Utica team looked REAL sharp this preseason!

    Also, what do you think of Dougie's bench ride trying to lay a hit?! LOL that was amazing I applaud his effort!

    Last but not least, TIMOOOOO MEIERRRRR we didn't get that or the theme song from you tonight! I MISSED THAT BROTHER! lol
