I was still pretty young when we had him on the roster so I wasn't paying attention and his wiki isn't really helpful for learning about the player. Can any Bolts fans who watched him play/be a part of the team tell me your opinions of Artyukhin?
This thing was dirt cheap so I took the chance and bought it and although it passes the authenticity test on r/hockeyjerseys I'm still skeptical. Not a fan of the heat pressed numbering. And the fabric feels so authentic compared to my stitched Stamkos. I'll survive without the $40 if it's not real lol

He was physical, had a little offense, but not much. Decent enough guy to have a jersey of if you got a good price.
You made my day with the Arty jersey. I joked that he was a âbig animalâ with my friends while he was playing.
IMO he never realized he had teammates as soon as he got the puck on a breakout he would try to do it all himself and usually get the puck taken away.
I believe after the NHL he went to the KHL and did fairly decent. I do t know if it was a maturity thing and realized you canât do it by yourself or if the KHL defense is that bad.
I watched him playing for SKA in person back in the day. He was one of the stars lol
Siiick! I loved Arty! Not exactly an offensive weapon, but he could forecheck and really throw his body around really well. He could hit as hard as anyone ever to wear a Lightning ⥠Bolt!
Remember when Nichushkin couldnât score? Similar to that. An absolute train on skates. He was so big and fast that he skipped over a lot of the details in his development imo.
Had all the tools and no tool
Box. Physically probably one of the best athletes Tampa ever had, but low hockey iq. Couldnât put it all together.
I MEANT SYNTHETIC NOT AUTHENTIC the jersey feels super synthetic. Brain fart lol
If Arty had Kuch’s mind and drive, he’d be talked about with the likes of Lemieux and Lindros. Alas, it’s rare for someone to have *all* those gifts, and the physical alone just makes for a frustrating player that occasionally reminded you how great he *could* have been.
He was a man child. The refs called him for roughing every time he touched someone because he was terrifying.
