Just when I thought this was as crazy as my life gets, the NHL DMs me on Instagram and asks for all my details (for crediting) and rights to use photos of Nico the bun for social media content and advertising…
I ofc happily provided my details and socials and gave permission for them to use our images, however I only have Instagram and tiktok as social media so if any of you see Nico the rabbit elsewhere please let me know as id love to see his rise to fame 🤣 who knows If theyll use it but getting messaged by the NHL and asked for permission was crazy!
A little bit of backstory on Nico Pico for anyone that cares as well, he was an accidental litter out of a meat rabbit getting in with a pet breeder, and was going to be sent of to be processed for meat if he wasn’t taken by anyone within his first 3-4 months. He ended up with me ofc, and now lives the most happy life! Rags to riches story for him although he’s clueless about it, he’s the love of my life first and foremost as a family member, always was and will be regardless of his “fame” but I find it very cool how he’s gotten this interest in him after being brushed aside as a ‘mistake’.

It’s Bunny Nico’s world, we’re all just living in it.
Can’t wait for them to show Bunny Nico on a Stanley cup final game broadcast in 2025 and have Mark Messier still somehow find a way to be miserable about it.
