People need to stop giving Casty such a hard time. He's sucked in the playoffs in years past (other than the absolute magic against the Braves last year). I was frustrated too, seeing him do what he does so often, whiffing at an offspeed down and away, but booing him the way they did is just not okay. You can see in his second interview he was clearly hurt by the fans turning on him like that. I know we're a passionate fanbase, and that's great, but we need to be better. We should NEVER be booing our own guys. Look what happened with Turner last year. Nick works his ass off for us, and those down and away pitches are his kryptonite, but we need to show more love, instead of hate.

Every time I see a Casty interview I remember why I love the guy so much. He is clearly extremely intelligent and he works his ass off every day to try to be the best player he can be. He keeps it real in the interviews, and he knows the down and away offspeed pitches are his weakness, and acknowledges that, which is all we, as fans, can ask for. We need to be better. Booing him is not okay, and I feel really bad for him honestly. He gets more shit than anyone else on our team, when he works his ass off for us, playing 162 games this year and hitting 5 walkoffs. It's really sad
