Thirst Trap was no contest. We all knew this was going to be the result.
Best on air personality – this is going to be a two horse race, but, it can be anyone from canes broadcasting from franchise history, so Shane Willis, Chuck Kaiton, Abby Labar (lol) all could be thrown in too.
- Can be any on-air personnel from 1997-present.
- Voting closes at 10:59pm each night.
- Next round up shortly after 11.
- Most upvoted wins!

John Forslund
Tripper
The most talented play by play announcer in NHL history – John Forslund
Best: Tripp
Worst: O-Dog
No love for Chantel McCabe? Michelle McMahon? For real though, it’s obviously Tripp. Kaiton is too busy showing his whole ass on social media.
Forslund is the only answer
I love Tripp. I love Mike. I loved Chuck.
But, man, John Forslund was the voice of my hockey fandom. Just simply the best to do it. He was the best to listen to when things were great, the best to listen in the middle of the dark years.
Chuck Kaiton hands down.
Tracy
Man, this might be the hardest. It’s between Tripp and Forslund. Ahhhhhh, if I had hair I’d be pulling it out right now….
Ultimately, I have to go with who makes me laugh more, and that’s Tripp.

John Forslund was/is a hell of a broadcaster, but Tripp lives and dies by the canes. It’s hard to find anyone that is as connected to so many people within their respective sport for as long as he’s done it
