I can't afford the Jersey collection but I would love to have a bunch of them. I buy shot glasses from places I traveled. Going to be in Denver for a Colorado Ave's one in a week. Then in Houston to get a Dallas Stars glass. I was thinking, housten texans, houston rockets, houston astros, nope, screw it Dallas Stars is the only Texas team I like. So its the wrong city. Have to rebuy my Nashville one. It went into the garbage disposal by someone that doesnt wash dishes. Lottery goal is to visit every NHL arena at least once. Then I can also afford jerseys. Maybe. Inflation is making 100 million not seem like that much anymore after taxes.

Man i really hope Puljujarvi is able to have a great season with the penguins, really wishing him the best. Loved him on the Oilers just sad he had to deal with so many injuries holding him back.
PTO's are practically over and I can't believe nobody has shown interest in Alexander Nylander, who finally unblocked at the NHL level after he was traded to Colombus from the Pens. He scored 15 points in 23 games (11 goals) in the last part of the season when sure, it didn't matter for Columbus, but it mattered for him, he proved he could be a top six guy, something Pittsburgh never really tried, like with Sam Poulin, they've been letting the few young prospects they have sit in the AHL and rot and when called up, play limited minutes on the third line at best and no special units. I'd be sad for Alex if his career was inevitably only possible by going back to Europe. As for Sam Poulin, I haven't heard his name in the Pittsburgh pre-season games and I don't think he was injured. Now that's a guy with huge talent that I "know" through 2 links of separation I guess who I'd be sad if things never happen for him, especially after being one of those guys whom had major stress issues because of covid (not that he caught it, but it scared the hell outta him, like a lot of people, making them rather useless, like Drouin for a while in Montreal). Canadian players cannot just "go back" to Canada and play in a league there, I guess you can try and offer AHL teams your services, but at that point, unless you like long boring bus rides and definitely not plan on having a family until you're 35, can work for some, 75k salary, all food and hotels paid for, I expected a lot outta him since I've seen him play live so much back in the qmjhl days, some people lost their way in that dang pandemic.
Both as a human being and a Pens fan, it'd be nice to see Puljujarvi have a good season. And someone else to keep an eye on in in Pittsburgh is 2024 2nd rounder Harrison Brunicke. He's looked really good. It's rare for 18 year old defenseman to play in the NHL. But if he keeps playing the way he is, he could force some tough decisions about the roster. At least enough to get him a 9 game tryout, before going back to Kamloops.
Cowan has been hot garbage. No way he sticks with this team. He needs some more cooking
The refs and linesmen cursing surprises my friends that are new to hockey more than the players swearing. I can't imagine hockey without cursing sometimes heck and darn just don't express how you feel accurately.

I think the Faceoff documentary will be huge. NFL Films is huge for the contributions to what the NFL is today.
Puljujarvi was also sidelined by not 1, but two full bouts of hip problems. I hope they are fixed for good. In hockey, the hips don't lie.
Some Sharks fans associate black jerseys with the… dark year, where we were reverse swept by LA. We've obviously had other black jerseys since those cursed ones (Stealth, Cali Fin), some fans still associate black with failure. I think the legacy Barracuda jerseys look awesome, as do their gray alternates.

When my son started in Pee Wee it shocked me to hear the swearing from 10 year olds. I thought the refs would stop it, but nothing doing. It only got louder at he moved up divisions. The f word in hockey is as common as the word 'the'.
Regarding the swearing, I watched a few episodes of The Rebuild series and I was very surprised at how much Marty St-Louis swears. He doesn't look like the guy who swears that much.
Really glad Martin cleared. The way Freddy gets injured the Canes will need Martin to back up Kochetkov. Perets and Khazheyev need at least one year in the AHL. The Canes not having an AHL team last year slowed Perets development.
