Rough looking group on paper, but a great opportunity for Kovalenko/Ritchie/Ivan to show they belong.
If they can do that it’ll just make us a deeper team when Lehky/Nuke/Landy are back.

Looks like de Haan and Malinski are slotting in as the 3rd pairing too

Ivan making the team in his second year after going undrafted is awesome

Definitely tempered expectations for I’d say the first half of the season. Let the young guys come up and earn their place. There’s gonna be some mistakes and a few sloppy losses along the way if I have to guess, and then once we get some of our veterans back the young guns will have some expirence to boot and we should be cruising the second half of the season.

The 22′ team gives me unrealistic expectations 🥲

I am not in love with this. But being down 15 million or whatever in players who aren’t currently playing will do that I guess. Buckle up for a bumpy start

far from ideal obviously, but ritchie and kovy (probably making the team long term anyway) going to get great looks on the bright side…as long as mack/makar/moose are healthy we are better than most teams

Good for Ivan. Not much chance for good ice time on the 4th line, so he’ll have to really go balls out every shift.

I’m going to say awesome. Roaring 20s back together, 3 rookies getting a shot, and Lehky and Nuke for Christmas. So excited for hockey

I don’t hate this. Start of the season is the time to get the young guns experience.

Seeing LOC back gives me tears. 🥲

Top heavy for sure.

I’m all for it. Cheap rookies on deals will help us with depth.

Obviously not the ideal line-up, I really hope Lehky is back sooner than later but this will still be a competitive group that will hold the line till the boys are back.
That 2nd line is rough though, Casey is a great player but it’s a tough ask to have him work with 2 rookies. IMO Kovy and Drou should switch it up
