Can’t think of a better way to kick the season off than a banner hanging and kicking Boston’s ass.
Only thing I didn’t like is they clearly took the foot off the gas in the last 10, giving Boston some hope (and bringing back that Cardiac Cat energy).
But other than that? We are so back bros. Let’s get another banner.

As a diehard Washington Capitals fan, I have observed the following from this game. The Florida Panthers are everything that the Boston Bruins used to be; Stanley Cup Champions (congrats bros you earned it), gritty, tough, hard working and most importantly WINNING. Let’s go Cats from the DC metro area.

Panthers continue to own the Bruins.
The Bruins got dummied. The Cats scored early and they scored often, picking up right where the playoffs left off. The Bruins didn’t belong on the same ice as the Panthers tonight. Going to be a fun season.
Maybe I have to throw something critical in there, but the powerplay looks bad, particularly the zone entries. Boqvist, a buyout last year, probably is miscast as PP quarterback, but I would give it at least ten games before changing it up. Ekblad looks better, but they’re better off conserving his minutes.
