The Chase: Inside Flames Training Camp – Episode 3

With training camp winding down, a battle in the blue paint has emerged as one of the most intriguing camp storylines. Dan Vladar and young Dustin Wolf have both stood tall in their preseason appearances, but newcomer Devin Cooley has, too, forcing management into a tough decision: Keep all three, all risk one losing on waivers?

In the final game of the exhibition calendar, we head to Winnipeg, where Assistant Coach Cail MacLean is mic’d up, giving us an inside look at his pre-game prep and 1-on-1 meetings with the players, before the group hits the ice and takes on a veteran heavy Jets team.

Finally, decision day arrives. How will the Flames manage their roster as the 23-man list comes due? And most importantly, who makes the cut?

  2. Was really hoping Cooley took Vladars or Wolfs job. Heโ€˜ll definitely be back with the team sometime this season.

  3. It's pretty clear that Conroy is only bringing in high character vets. Cooley may only play in the AHL but he seems like a good dude.

  4. Are we rebuilding as a franchise or are we just a team that pushes to make the playoffs and hopes that anything can happen. Sick of our franchise being middle pack team. 3 year rebuild with top 5 picks and hope that we draft the Mckenna kid

  5. What a great time to bring out the Chase!!!๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ
To be able to watch the personalities shine in a season Iโ€™m sooooo pumped to watch unfold, itโ€™s not only refreshing but perfect timing!!! G๐Ÿ”ฅG!!!

  6. Thanks to the folks who put this series together. It was really well done and brings the fans closer to what the coaches and players go through to put together the best team they can.

  7. Omg….how many times does he use the word 'like'. Its almost every 3rd word. He must have said 'like' well over 100 times in that interview.
