Master plan ? He still needs to find a way to dump salary. Putting players on LTIR is a stalling tactic. They can’t pretend to be injured forever and $1 is not enough room to activate anyone. The only hope is that some team has legitimate injury issues and is willing to make a trade. Unfortunately the Leafs are not in a good position to demand much return.
The main competition from those preseason games was between the sound of the games and the sound of my snoring.
You guys are giving Treliving too much credit lol. Extending Kampf last year and giving Liljegren 3 million have proven to be 2 bad mistakes.

Marner wasn’t traded because nobody would pay a decent price for him. His numbers are over inflated due to the talent he plays with and he’s massively over paid. He will get another raise next year and they’ll bring back the core 4 again.
