  1. I wish Laine a quick and full recovery, I can't wait to see how he plays alongside Suzuki

  2. being a habs fan and hearing that last line makes me want to break everything in my kitchen and throw up

  3. Man if only Grabner could play a lick of defense, he could have been alot more of a mainstay in the league.

He could score, he was fast as hell, just couldnt back track.

One of my favorite players about a decade ago for some odd reason. Always rooted for the guy.

  4. The weirdest thing with Laine is he would score in like 30 straight games, then take the next 50 games off, and just go public skating.

Guy was an all-star when he was on, but if he was off, you may have just gave his roster spot to an ECHL'r because there was no difference in his game.

  5. I was sad to hear Laine got hurt during pre-season. Mans deserves so much better. I want to see him play again!

  6. Yo the thumbnail should 100% be him with the jets because that was easily when he was most dominant

  7. Hard disagree with the ending statement. I think we have already seen Laine’s peak. It’s been what, 6 years since he’s been able to stay healthy and consistent? Why do we trust he’s going to bounce back every single year?

  8. mike grabner is a legend among legends on that list. the shortform content like this is really sick alongside the deep dives!

  9. I fuckin loved Laine in Winnipeg, living just 2 hours away. Always been a Bruins fan, but seeing Laine live and seeing a guy like him lead the Jets was really special.

  10. I swear I've seen this one before. When the habs got this guy, my first thought was "that dude gonna play 2 games, score 0 goals, get injured." Turns out I was off by two games.

  11. I will forever be a Laine defender. He is nasty and he’s just had shitty luck. From a completely toxic Winnipeg environment to one of the most poorly ran franchises in the history of the game. Was so bummed to see him go down in the preseason there.

  12. I was happy to see you helped HockeyPsych on his other vid. Your content is much more statistical, which suits my preferences a lot.

Of the "talkers" channels, I think he's better than most but still his vids are mainly just clip-linked takes based off more credible sources.

I really like what you're doing here, keep it up!

Edit: I'm not a Laine fan at all, but this was really eye-opening. Thank you for providing deep insights into enjoyable, specific hockey topics!

  13. I miss him so much in Winnipeg, he just had such a presence when he played here. Haven’t been as excited to watch a player since he left

  14. Man as an Islanders fan in 2011 when rookie Grabner scored 34 we were all convinced we had stolen the next Bure from Vancouver. He was still a PK menace after that but he could never find his scoring touch after that
