Lor – entz will be an exciting player to watch this season big winger that finishes his checks. the goal he scored the other night was cause his player covering him was flattened by him then he goes to the net and scores, – where do you guys get that 70% ARENT SUBSCRIBED. you have what 12 – 13 k subscribed to the channel thats way more than other hockey/ Leafs channels.
i think with this group of players they should break that losing in the first round and even win that second round . they need to win the division so they dont have to play Florida or boston in the first 2 rounds thats been a big problem for them finishing 3 rd every year thier stuck playing the 2 best teams to get out of the Atlantic division, Hope this is the year to do it.

I don't agree with McMann being a healthy scratch.
I was hopeful with there being a new coach, and strengthening the defense, until I saw the opening night lineup. That broke any hope I had. It's the same as last year, and the 4 years previous.
I'm okay with keeping the "core 4", but BRAKE IT UP! THOSE LINES DON'T WORK IN THE LONG RUN.
Try something new. I expected something new from a new coach.

Knies – Matthews- Domi
Robertson – Marner – McMann
Patches – Tavares – Nylander
Lorentz – Holmberg – Reeves
Marner should have been tried at center rather than Nylander… again. Marner is a 200 for player, players all positions, and is one of the best playmakers in the game, Willy is a great player, but not on the defensive side. The only question is, can Marner learn to win 50%+ of his faceoffs?
