Defensive Outlook

Due to the rising stock of Seamus Casey, many Devils fans, including myself, have wondered what the Devils blue line looks like long term. Here are my thoughts on what the back end looks like for the next 5 years

Hughes-Pesce

Siegenthaler-Nemec

…can we just focus on this year since Pesce hasn’t even played a game yet? lol

Jesus can we play 5 games before we talk about 2029?

Casey is 100% a regular next season, and possibly will be even this season.

Hope Casey is around for a long time. Idk how I didn’t learn this until the other day but he grew up rooting for the Devils and has a bunch of family from Jersey that are big Devils fans.

  5. I’m not sure how much faith I have in these projections just yet, but it is such a relief to be stacked at D. I basically never worry about the Devils right now. We’ll have our ups and downs but we seem to be run fully by sane, actual hockey people once more.
