This Utah arena seat has to be up there with one of the best right? No obstructions, above the glass, close to the rink… he’s essentially hovering above the ice…

It will only be like this for this year because of the short timing between the move of the team and the beginning of the season. Next offseason the arena will undergo a major renovation that will make it so they can use all the seats, and don’t have the ones piled up in the ends

Next level seat tbh.. goal line is always fun and this eliminates all the obstructions/distortions looking along the glass

  3. Wait till a puck flies up there and catches someone in the nose

It’s all fun and games until a puck gets launched in the air.

I mean it doesn’t have the great sight lines Mullet Arena had….

You’re completely right, I’ve even thought that this might be such a rare experience maybe I’ll go see the penguins out there for a mini vacation and try to find one of those corner seats on resale.

Don’t tell everyone lmao that seat is probably mad expensive already

Imagine Tie Domi pulling him down from there and feeding him some face punches

  8. The problem is the seat is facing center ice so you have to turn your head to see the closer goal.

I mean the stadium is made for basketball I can see why it has so many issues viewing wise for hockey,

Nah, you can’t even see the goal below if you’re sitting on the ends. Having one seat look “cool” doesn’t make the whole arena great

I really like the Coyotes ASU facility. A great view from every seat and killer chicken tenders.

    That’s Happy Gilmore’s dad’s seat

  13. Alfond Arena (college) has a whole section of seats around the visitors end hovering above the glass. In the old days there was no net around it. During warm-ups things were yelled, which got pucks got shot up into the stands, and then pucks rained back down onto the ice.

  14. That reminds me of some old barns back in the DAY, baby. Some leftover WHA venues and weird NHL temp arenas.
