  1. if you watched the WJC stankhoven's draft year you could see he knew how to survive and be effective as a small player not unlike garland. his game is just like garland's. i groaned when they passed on him.

  2. I remember the hype from a couple of seasons ago and the Canucks were apparently quite high on him back in the day too, giving him quite a bit media attention for a second round draftee. He's only 21 so I wouldn't write him off yet, but I think if he still does not progress in the right direction, he is likely going to be a career minor leaguer or he would be heading back to Europe to play in tier two leagues…

  3. Not sure what you need to motivate him.. Big guy who looks disconnected at times and I think needs to work on his skating.and edgework. He still has potential and upside, but he needs to start figuring it out. I would like him to make a big step this year.
