Lets hope Cam starts having fun again. I believe that ll go along way to him being better.
Maybe with Gudas being captian that ll take some of the pressure off.

I think the title of this video is a bit clickbait-y. Zellweger isn't the odd-man out. if anything, he will be at least a semi-regular on the roster.

Lacombe and Gudas the first pair lol. thats a third line pair on every NHL team what is going on in Anaheim Fowler Zell and Minty should be 1,2,3 Luneau I guess has had a good camp?
You to hard on Fowler. Man did not have a consistent defensive partnership throughout most of his career. Played both sides multiple seasons. He was a solid factor in this teams deeper playoff runs. Hope he gets his 1000th then he can move for roster and cap space.
Cam was def overworked. Hopefully with other young guys stepping up and taking some pressure off he could produce. Sad about Zelly I totally thought he would be a mainstay too…but if the defense is better and we take less penalties we could see a big jump! Some competition for ice time could also really push the young defense to make a name for themselves
I'm hoping a breakout year offensively from Luneau or Mintyukov, but can't really pinpoint who's in the better position to achieve that feat
I’m sure Zelly will get his time to shine. Fowler is going to be gone to a team that wants his experience but probably won’t happen until play offs and trade deadline unless a team has an injury and wants him sooner. I do agree, he didn’t make a huge impact in preseason and Lacomb looked good. But I always thought Lacomb was gonna be good. Just keep him away from Fowler …that guy is Mr. Minus points whoever he is with. The D Team is looking much better…guys who can skate the puck out and not just panic and clear it. Hoping Gudas can instill some bite in everyone’s game to bring more physicality. As Verbeek said, he wants the Ducks to be a tough team to play against. Like the seasons we had Pronger and Beauchemin. Bring on the hurt! Looking forward to game 1. San Jose road game …time to shake the disease and start a winning season! Go Ducks.
Why not convert Zell into a forward as part of a shutdown line player?

Not a ducks fan but I will say Zellweger is gonna be elite in the nhl. He has the NHL blueline-standard skills you see in all the top defenseman nowadays. Loved him for the Silvertips
Ducks defense is their weakness, either too green, or too mediocre. They need to add a solid veteran, and a solid 3C to replace Strome.
Fowler will get packaged. But ducks would have to eat some of his salary.. Same goes for Gibson… The problem with Gibson is his numbers are not great and it might be better for ducks to buy him out.
Sharks fan just seeing who we might be able to snag. We're already a bit small on the backend and crowded on the left so probably not for us.
Was there a 21st Duck this year? Did I miss it?
