I just want to thank all of you that followed the countdown series for all the love and support you showed over the last 59 days. I would like to apologize for some of the posts being late and for the lack of detail on a couple of them. While I did love doing the series, there were certain days that had 8+ players and I just didn't have the time to sit down and complete them. There were times when it became quite tedious, but you all made it worth it to keep going.
I enjoyed learning about a lot of the original players and therefore learning more about the history of the team. I enjoyed hearing the stories from fans about who they've met or experiencing certain moments live at Bridgestone. Not only did I learn a lot about the franchise, I learned that this is one of the best damn fanbases to be a part of in the NHL.
About a month before we hit Day 13 the mods would message me asking if I could dedicate the day to Johnny Gaudreau, not only was it a great idea, but when I had trouble finding some good pictures to create a decent tribute they stepped in to help as well. The show of support and the classy comments made me proud to be a member of Smashville. I expect to see you all in the GDT tonight going absolutely crazy for some Predators hockey.
LET'S GO SMASHVILLE!
Thank you all for coming with me on this journey and I can't wait to do something for next offseason. If you have some ideas on what to do for next offseason then comment below. What was/were your favorite day/s? Did you learn anything new? What did you like/dislike about the series?

1 ticket for the roller coaster named “Lots of thrills but eventually disappointing” please. I’ve ridden it every year and will totally buy another ticket next year.
