Got to love Adam Lowry and his comment about how everyone dumps on playing in Winnipeg but those who do play here understand how important they are to Winnipeg and how well this organization treats them. Pure class!
If I am being nitpicky, I did not really notice the 2nd line – now that may be a good thing, because they did not give up too many chances – but I just didn't feel they generated a lot of momentum. Will be something to watch – can they step up and create momentum in future when the team is not having such a good night?
A great start – my main take away – as a team, this sure looked a lot like 2023-24, so maybe keeping the bulk of a lineup that put up 52 wins the year before might make some sense after all??? (duh)
Just wanted to give a shout-out (or is that a shutout) to the IC guys for doing the LIVE post games at BPs. They are lots of fun to attend in-person and the guys are so accessible I always leave the events learning more about the "behind the scenes". I know those events take a lot of effort and time out of their personal lives but they are very much appreciated! Keep up the great work, and welcome back to another season of IC shenanigans!
